
Dr. DNA's Boggled Base Pairs
Project Goal:
To create an engaging and educational board game for elementary school students that teaches the basics of CRISPR science. Working alongside a biology student, the goal was to simplify complex scientific concepts and make learning fun, interactive, and accessible for young learners.
Outcome:
The board game successfully introduced elementary students to the fundamentals of CRISPR through playful, easy-to-understand gameplay. By using creative illustrations and simple mechanics, the game made complex biology concepts approachable and engaging. The final product was both informative and fun, meeting the educational objectives set by NIH while sparking curiosity and interest in science among young players.
